(Not Quite) Tie the Knot Tuesday – Jessica & Kevin

Muah! Jessica and Kevin exchange kisses during their fun D.C. engagement session.

Skilled photographer Leonard Poteat landed yet another lovely pair of nearlyweds to shoot for memorable Washington, D.C. engagement portraits. Poteat is a friend of Triple B — feel free to revisit some of his past work here. Remember this innovative camping themed e-session he shot? Now meet Jessica and Kevin, who are scheduled to say “I Do” later this month, in the below gallery and be sure to leave a comment sharing which pic is your fave. Jessica and Kevin began their fun e-session at D.C.’s sleek Hotel Monaco before making a few other stops in the area including Red Velvet Cupcakery. (Confession: They’re all pretty fab but the cupcake ones left me swooning.) Enjoy!

  1. So sweet and great photography! This is a very fashionable pair. I think I like the one of them holding the cupcakes over their faces best.

  2. Bridgette Bridgette says:

@Caitlin – Glad you enjoyed the pics!

  3. From the pictures, the couple looks so in love. The photograher did a great job of capturing hapiness with what appears to be little effort with almost no props. I visited his page and am now a fan.

  4. Great pics! I like “Just Us,” best. It sends a message of “the world can go on around us, I love you and want a kiss right here and now.” Beautiful!

  5. Bridgette Bridgette says:

@Erica – Yes, Leonard is most certainly talented. I enjoy his work.

@SD – Your caption for the “Just Us” pic is spot on!
