This morning I stumbled across breathtaking vow renewal pictures of acting husband – wife duo Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict. I sorta developed a slight girl crush (am I allowed to admit that?!) on Tia — who my fiance insists on calling Girl Melanie, only fans of The Game will get that, after interviewing her for a PEOPLE magazine story. She truly seems like good people — a doting wife, mother, sister, ambitious about her career and regularly admits that she’s still trying to figure out how to balance it all. Tia and Cory will officially celebrate five years of wedded bliss on April 20th. (There’s lots of anniversaries to celebrate next week, huh?) Triple B wishes them many more years of health and happiness. Enjoy the pics! [Read more...]

Today, October 3, 2012, is the 20th wedding anniversary of the President of the United States of America Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. Regardless of political alliances, few can deny that this couple is inspiring. They’re both smart, driven, dedicated to family, athletic and danggit they actually seem to like each other. And they display the type of affection none of us have witnessed in The White House prior to now. To help celebrate this monumental anniversary, Triple B created a slideshow of fave pics of the First Family. Enjoy! [Read more...]

Funny lady Niecy Nash recently celebrated her one-year wedding annniversay with handsome hubby Jay Tucker. While some newlyweds eat out at their favorite restaurant or plan a romantic vacay, Nash and Tucker decided to gather all their friends together for an all-out partay! The star-studded bash at the couple’s Los Angeles home included an array of high-profile guests like Brandy, Angela Bassett and her husband Courtney Vance, Lalia Ali and Lisa Leslie. We know Nash is no stranger to fab parties and it’s nice to see that she and Jay enjoy entertaining together now that they’re married. Celebrity or not, fun, food and fellowship with loved ones shouldn’t be taken for granted and these two seem to celebrate this. Take a look at more fab pics from the party:
What a treat I have for you guys today! When I discovered that Tie the Knot Tuesday alum Rasheeda enjoys writing and realized that her one-year wedding anniversary was approaching, I asked the Georgia Peach to pen a piece about her first 365 days of wifedom for Triple B. Rasheeda in turn submitted a beautiful, honest and eye-opening letter to her engaged self. There are so many jewels in this letter, y’all. Enjoy!

Here's the long and short of it. I do not have a large floral budget for my wedding. It is what it is. However I have an awesome support team (Thanks again, Nicole!) and I'll be tapping into as many online frugal resources to execute my ideas as possible. There will be quite a bit of DIY going on.
