This week’s pick is more if an idea than a “thing”. Right now I’m just smitten with using cake pops as escort cards. I know you’re thinking the inclusion of cake pops at weddings isn’t exactly new. And you’re right. But the novel idea as using them as a unique way to demonstrate your escort cards is kinda new…and yummy, too! Interested in using your own version of the above at your next big function can be as simple or as intricate you want. I’ve seen metallic cake pops, cake pops in a gazillion flavors, cake pops that look like they’re wearing a wedding gown and tuxedo — the list continues. Once your cake pop design(s) are finalized, head to Michael’s or your local craft store for the makings of your escort cards that will either be fixated to each cake pop itself or the stick. Have fun with color and shapes. The end result are your guests nibbling on a sweet treat while they find their seats and get prepared to par-tay!
