In a previous post, I discussed the importance of wedding planning visits when planning a destination wedding. Last week, I spent 3 days in sunny Los Angeles with my Mom, daughter and wedding planner to do nothing but wedding plan…well, kinda, except for when we put on our tourist hats and since it was Ava’s Spring Break, checked off all of her “to-dos” from her list, which was a list of random, but dope, sights to see. But, for the most part, we were knee deep in wedding planning. [Read more…]
Mars thinks –This works for “dress down Fridays” when you know the office is empty because of a holiday weekend. Perhaps I’m being a bit harsh, but this look does nothing for me. [Read more…]
At last week’s Ultimate Date Night Soiree in Charlotte (We had a blast by the way, pics to come soon!), one of the planning brides in attendance expressed that she was regrettably still searching for affordable floral options for her big day. While I had several of tips of frugal floral finds to share with her, it reminded me of an awesome floral resource I’d yet to gush about here: Eco Flower Weddings! [Read more…]

One idea I’m considering incorporating into my big day: Baby’s Breath! [Read more…]
Earlier this month, Triple B joined forces with the lovely bridal boutique Soliloquy right outside of Washington, D.C. for a fun afternoon of trying on stunning wedding dresses by the likes of Kevan Hall, awesome gift bags and champagne. I shared some wedding planning tips with attendees and since the feedback was so positive, I felt it was only right to extend the information to those in the Triple B audience who can benefit from it as well. The original concept for my blog on Triple B was based on my attempt to lose weight before my big day. Surprisingly it has taken on a life of its own. With just over three months until our wedding day my body is betraying me.
