The Villas at Aquamare

Earlier this year – while Triple B was still in the womb – I accepted a wonderful invitation to visit the British Virgin Island of Virgin Gorda and stay at the exclusive Aquamare resort. I’ve done my fair share of traveling but Aquamare is on a different echelon from anything I had ever experienced. My dear cyberfriends, in a word the place is sick.

Lounge in paradise

I’m not even sure where to begin. Virgin Gorda itself is simply a gorgeous island and void of the commercial feel of hairbraiders on the beach and McDonald’s or Starbucks franchises that have plagued much of the Caribbean. The landscape is breathtaking, the beaches are pristine and the people are uber-friendly. All of these qualities make for a great backdrop to The Villas at Aquamare. [Read more...]
