Enjoy an oldie but goodie today! This wedding, captured on film by the talented folks at Three Ring Media in Atlanta, displays just how beautiful sibling love can be and one can only imagine that the love between twins is another kind of special. Be prepared: Tissue might be needed for this one, too.
Couple: Nicole & Lawrence

The “Here Comes the Bride” sign carrier is adorable. The snippets of the couple and their guests offering commentary throughout the video remind me of Three Ring Media‘s fresh documentary style videography. The bride is freakin’ gorgeous. And I love that she kept her hair curly for her wedding day. The venue is so charming (I have a thing for at-home weddings…This home happens to belong to actor/singer Tyrese but it was intimate and magical; not pretentious.) The song selections were kinda perfect. The groom has a palpable sense of humor and it was allowed to shine in this video. Did I mention the bride is gorgeous? It seemed as though all the guests were genuinely beaming with happiness for the couple.
Don’t believe any of this or think I’m exaggerating? Just watch. [Read more...]
I’ve already shared this video on Facebook and Twitter but you guys know I’m a bona fide sucka for a good wedding trailer so I had to make this my pick of the week on the site, too. This couple got down for their first dance. How cool are those masks?! So creative and just plain ‘ole fun — I’m sure their entire reception was a blast!
If my fiance and I did anything remotely like this it would surprise all our guests because he’s not a big fan of dancing. Will you or did you and your significant other shake a tailfeather like this couple did for your wedding’s first dance? Why or why not?
Triple B is still working on an exciting — but currently confidential — project. In the meantime, enjoy this wedding trailer from upbeat couple Jessica and Donovan. Besides it just being fun to watch, there’s a hefty amount of inspiration for any planning bride to take advantage of in this two and a half minute trailer. From the sassy satin robes the bridesmaids are rocking while getting ready (I found affordable options just like them here!) to the perfect song selection to accompany the wedding day footage. Enjoy!
There’s no Tie the Knot Tuesday for the next couple of weeks because Triple B is super-busy working on an exciting (yet time-consuming) project. I look forward to sharing the great news with you guys when the ink is dry! In the meantime, check out the below wedding trailer that originally was shared in Triple B TV. I haven’t a clue who Kendra and Gerald are but there is something very familiar about them. In this short snippet of their wedding day, it’s evident that there were plenty of sentimental moments, humor, dancing, food, friends and family. That’s my kind of party. And the way it was all captured on film are signs of a great videographer. My favorite scene is probably the end when the newlyweds are surrounded in a circle by who I assume are their family matriarchs. Seems like this couple’s marriage started off with a lot of support and who can’t appreciate that? Enjoy!
Triple B’s sharing another awesome wedding trailer; this time from Nashville, Tenn. Isn’t the fun, camaraderie and love in this video just palpable? I bet Leah and Kevin’s reception was a great time indeed!
Yesterday I bumped into a dear colleague who informed me that she had been searching the site for the below video and was disappointed that she couldn’t find it. The Triple B TV videos that live on the right rail of this site get switched out every week or so. I originally posted this video last year and replaced it long ago so it sadly became Triple B history. But since so many of you seemingly enjoyed it and might be searching for it here as my colleague was, I’ve brought it back. It is such a feel-good lil’ diddy and apparently the recent Steel Magnolias remake has it on many radars again. I wonder if I can pull off something like this at my own wedding without my fiance thinking I’m (more) nuts. Hmmm…
Remember the adorable nearlywed couple Shantel and Kendrick? Their e-session pics were a certified Triple B hit! (And how fly were Shantel’s red pumps?!) Well, the duo got hitched on May 25, 2012 and were eager to share their wedding trailer on Black Bridal Bliss. Enjoy and stay tuned for a full Tie the Knot Tuesday feature from Shantel and Kendrick later this summer.
I stumbled across this jaw-dropping video yesterday on Facebook and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. I’ve seen a lot of wedding trailers and this was the first one that left me at a lost for words. The venue of Abbaye de Cernay in Paris is majestic, the bride’s gowns are exquisite and the overall cinematography is sick. And most importantly, the bride Stephanie Okereke and groom Linus Idahosa look so happy! After a little research I learned that the bride is apparently a pretty famous Nollywood (that’s the Hollywood of Nigeria for those out the loop) actress and the groom Linus is a global media consultant who also hails from Nigeria. The two wed on April 21, 2012. Congrats to them and enjoy the video.
Oh and P.S. – Before you go rolling your eyes and counting up how much money the couple spent on their nuptials, just remember they didn’t ask any of us for financial assistance to create the wedding day they wanted. I admit the day seemed a little over the top but it is enjoyable to watch and I truly feel most brides-to-be can be inspired by something in this video, regardless of their budget.
Tell me your favorite part in the comments (I really enjoyed the fireworks!) and if you have any additional intel on these two feel free to share.
Just last week an engaged Facebook buddy pleaded in her status update, “To or to not do a wedding video? I love the idea, but my fiance isn’t sold. Need to convince him. Help!” Of course, Triple B was on the case. I immediately sent her a link to Tie the Knot Tuesday couple Cleo and Lyncoln’s Q&A on choosing (and budgeting for) a videographer and advised her to book one based on honest feedback from the hundreds of brides I’ve interviewed. Said buddy was very appreciative. But just this morning I realized that I never shared The Road to Mrs. alum Nadine’s wedding trailer with you! Well, here it is (newlyweds Nadine and her hilarious hubby Sean don’t disappoint). The three things I enjoy most about this wedding trailer are Nadine’s teenage son in the video (he was a significant part of the union afterall), the video switching from black and white to color as the couple jumps the the broom (it was subtle but carries loads of significance) and last but certainly not least, the inclusion of their engagement trip to Cuba in the middle. Swoon! Enjoy folks and leave me a comment with your fave parts, as well as advice for my friend on how to convince her fiance to book a videographer for their own big day.
I recently discovered a fan-ta-bu-lous wedding videographer resource while checking out Bride & Soul’s hot new site. If they aren’t already, put Three Ring Media on your radar! This husband-wife duo is based in Atlanta but also work their magic for weddings in DC and NYC (and might travel to other locations as well for the right $). Their videos are shot using Blu-Ray technology so everything looks crisp and the colors are vibrant. But what really impressed me was the personalized storytelling approach they bring to their craft. Think Tie the Knot Tuesdays on film. Check out these two (Janelle & Travis made me cry!): [Read more...]
Last week’s Tie the Knot featured couple Rashida and Ben are back! And this week they’re sharing a very special video of their First Dance as husband and wife with Triple B. No long introductions needed for this one. View the video here until I figure out how to properly embed it below. (UGH!) You should also take a look at the creative couple’s Save the Date video which is equally as enjoyable. Be sure to leave a comment with your feedback as I’m sure you’ll have some after viewing this — definitely watch it until the end.

Happy Friday, y’all! I’m sure you’re looking forward to the upcoming weekend as much as I am. So, I’m sharing this treat from our fave newlywed and former Road to Mrs. blogger, Charli. Below is her touching, hilarious and plain ‘ole feel-good wedding trailer. The talented Anthony Palmini created it and I love the behind-the-scenes and bloopers footage, as well as, the song selections. The energy of Charli and her hubby Gibran is palpable. Who said wedding videos had to be uptight and stuffy? Enjoy and be sure to do something fun this weekend! (Don’t forget to leave a comment with your thoughts on the video.) Bonus: Read this post for insider tips on hiring a videographer for your wedding day.
Welcome back to Tie the Knot Tuesday on Black Bridal Bliss! The feedback from Tie the Knot Tuesday’s debut last week has been so positive, I knew I had to highlight the newlywed’s extended wedding video today. (Be sure to view the preview video as well if you haven’t already.) The featured couple Cleo and Lyncoln Dujon have also been gracious enough to share their tips and tricks for scoring a fab wedding videographer and the real deal on why they’re so important.
