Bliss so nice we did it twice: Viola and hubby Julius say I Do…Again!

While many couples became engaged over Valentine’s Day weekend, one “lucky” Hollywood pair said I Do…again. Actress Viola Davis and her husband of 13 years Julius Tennon renewed their wedding vows on Saturday, February 13th in a star-studded affair. According to ESSENCE.com, the beautiful renewal took place at the Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. On hand to celebrate the special occasion was Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham, Gayle King, sisters Debbie Allen and Phylicia Rashad, Aisha Tyler and Octavia Spencer. As the invite requested, everyone arrived in “white cocktail” attire.

The duo entered the ballroom ceremony preceded by their afro-puffed, five-year-old daughter, Genesis, who carried a white ribbon-adorned broom – the same broom they jumped 13 years ago. (We love this!) Viola and Julius adopted Genesis in 2011. After a short ceremony, it was officially party time!

Everyone in the ballroom was immediately asked to join the re-newlyweds on dance floor. The first post-ceremony song was Happy by Pharrell Williams. The next song was Crazy in Love by Beyonce, followed by the Bruno Mars hit, Uptown Funk. Davis, whose gown was designed by Carmen Marc Valvo (the designer crafted dresses for her mother and daughter as well), danced the night away surrounded by love. What an awesome way to celebrate Valentine’s Day Weekend.

Triple B wishes the couple many more years of marital bliss! Read more details about this couple and their renewal here.
