Triple B’s first Cupcakes, Cocktails & Conversation was a HIT!

On November 8, 2015, BlackBridalBliss.com brings its signature Cupcakes, Cocktails, & Conversation event to our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. Too rarely is fun and informative discussion encouraged regarding healthy love – specifically among Blacks. The Cupcakes, Cocktails, & Conversation series allows women to hear the inner most thoughts of men on subjects that are rarely openly discussed relating to romantic relationships. Question development for these panel discussions promotes open and honest dialogue about love and marriage — from a man’s perspective. Why men? We often hear solely from women about the trials and tribulations of relationships. Bridgette’s research has shown that the majority of this audience is in or seeking a healthy relationship with a man. I’m trying to help us all out. If you watch any of the “reality” or prime-time television focused on Black relationships, you may agree that substance is often lacking. Not only am I unable to relate, but with few exceptions, these shows paint a picture that I can’t understand. My wife, my mother and numerous other women I respect in my life tend to agree. So we’re hoping to level the playing field. The ultimate online destination for Black brides isn’t merely a tagline of Triple B. Supporting Black love and positively influencing marriage is taken very seriously by the Black Bridal Bliss staff.

Sharing opinions and reasons for thought patterns is a proven way to effect change. Our Cupcakes, Cocktails, & Conversation affords all attendees to hear what a variety of married men on how they truly feel — including fears, peeves, and the good, warm, and fuzzy stuff — regarding all things LOVE. None of these dudes are relationship experts, matchmakers or the like. There won’t be any judgment, finger-pointing or self-righteous speeches. Just candid conversation in a relaxed atmosphere — with signature cocktails on deck, of course.

The Triple B team is working overtime to ensure Cupcakes, Cocktails & Conversation is the ish. I’ve been charged with coming up with questions for our moderator Cori Murray to ask the panelists. Here’s how you can help me out: Leave a question in the comments that you would like them to answer. Your question can range from engagement rings, proposals, wedding planning, sex, in-laws, becoming a parent, blended families, financial planning — nothing is off-limits.

Hopefully you’ve already purchased your ticket(s) — if not, click here and get busy! I’m looking forward to sharing your questions with the fellas who are eager to share their insight on November 8th.

See you in D.C.!
