This just in: Singer Kelly Rowland is the latest R&B singer preparing to tie the knot, y’all! After weeks of speculation, the Texas born songstress revealed she is engaged to longtime manager Tim Witherspoon just yesterday on The Queen Latifah Show.

When Latifah inquired about Kelly’s relationship status, the typically tight-lipped beauty who was once engaged to former NFL player Roy Williams proudly shared, “Yes, he put a ring on it!”  And she flashed her sparkler! Kelly elaborated saying, “It’s been a while. We’ve kept it very, very low—for years, to be completely honest.”

And Kelly also opened up about the unique way Tim asked for her hand in marriage. “He asked me first on Skype and I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other.'” Apparently, the “X Factor” judge Kelly was in Bulgaria at that time.

She continued, “He asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, ‘I got my best friend to ride through life with.’ He really is my best friend.”
