My BFF who has been married for eight years and counting misplaced her wedding band a few years ago and it obviously caused her a considerable amount of angst — but truthfully I think I was more concerned than she was. Said friend took her ring off while doing some housework and the ring didn’t resurface until months later. A former co-worker accidentally washed her engagement ring down the drain. Yikes! Although her hubby was pissed, he eventually purchased a new one for her and their marriage is still in tact. I am willing to bet both of these women wish they had a CareRing to prevent these mishaps.
In short, CareRing is a protector for all rings but is most popular with women protecting their engagement rings and wedding bands. Of course many women are opting not to go that traditional route these days but for those who do this product is freakin’ genius. It is ideal to wear while doing housework, gardening (which was the catalyst to launch the company) or bathing/applying lotion to hands. CareRing is apparently a hit with medical professionals (doctors, nurses, etc.). Basically this is perfect for those who may not want to remove their rings but who still wants to protect them. CareRing is available in three sizes and colors. They cost $11.97 (but try applying the WEDDING code at checkout for a 20% discount!) and are hypo-allergenic and have a bunch of other cool qualities.
So what do you think of CareRing? Would you purchase one for yourself or for a gift? Do you already own a CareRing? Lemme know!
I can’t decide if I think this is genius or absolutely ridiculous. My initial thought was ridiculous until I clicked to the website and saw the pictures of ladies wearing them. I can see the appeal and usefulness. I just don’t see it as practical.
I use it. I think it is brilliant. I am a mother and am always cooking and cleaning. I think it is very practical because I don’t like wearing gloves and it protects my ring. I find it easy to put on and off.
