Normally the fashion news here on Triple B is strictly for the brides but today I have news to share for the grooms and other men taking part in their big day. The newly redesigned JoS A. Bank innovative website now allows grooms to manage the tuxedo rental process from conception to completion from the comfort of home, the office, the gym or of course from any of the company’s 572 brick and mortar stores. Fellas can browse a collection of over 40 tuxedo styles, 340 tie styles and 165 vest styles. Couples can register their event on the website to gain access to their event dashboard, where they can monitor the status of orders, and communicate with their wedding party through emails or text messaging.
Event information flows seamlessly to stores, where associates can access existing events or create new ones, and confirm orders. I appreciate that the retailer is affordable and accessible for most nearlyweds and their loved ones. Brides have been turning to the web heavily to to plan their aspect of the wedding day so this natural progression is only right. Plus, the newly designed site is full of useful information about menswear style! However, I have found that men don’t typically view shopping the same way most women do so perhaps this news isn’t nearly as groundbreaking as I would like to think. I wonder how Cousin Mars feels about this news…Are you reading Mars? Weigh in for Triple B, please.
Would your fiance and/or his groomsmen order tuxedos online? Why or why not?
Thank you Triple B. I’ll keep this in the memory bank. I may even write the OCTOBER 26th post in a Tux from Jos. A. Bank
