This week’s Tie the Knot Tuesday is a flashback wedding trailer! Although the couple Nana and Akinola wed over three years ago, everything in this trailer is still relevant. As a planning bride myself, I find this inspiring because selecting decor, fashion and music for a timeless wedding trailer seems easy but is not an easy feat. Also take note of the couple’s inclusion of their African backgrounds (the bride is Ghanian and the groom Nigerian) at the end. Enjoy this treat and leave me a comment with your fave part of the video.

Shameless admission: I used to work with the bride Nana and although during every viewing I swoon over everything in this trailer from the romantic song selection to the quick, witty voice inclusions from the bridal party, my favorite part of this video just might be her fly short ‘do! Just gorge!

I love the entire video especially the song and the drummers at the end! Beautiful couple.
@Kim – Glad you enjoyed!
AWESOME!
@Patricia – Thanks for the positive feedback!
This video ROCKS! My sister has told me repeatedly that her wedding photos and video have helped her get thru several rough patches in her marriage. If faced with any, this couple may find the same relief.
@Erica – YES! I’ve actually heard married couples say that as well.
I want to 2nd what Erica J. said. Viewing my pictures often takes anger off of my mind and reminds me why I love my knuckle-head.
Please tell me the name of this song!!!!!!
Beautiful wedding, beautiful couple!
@Kia – LOL!
@ C. Brown – The name of the song is Daydreamin’ by Porshe Smith.
First congratulations on your pending nuptials, Bridgette!!! I loved the whole video and being a child of Sierra Leonean/Nigerian background, this wedding takes me back to the different weddings I’ve attended over the years. I laughed during Akinola’s vows and I cried when they said “I do!” Beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing!
@Alwina – I’m glad you enjoyed the video! You’re very welcome.
Love it! She is a gorgeous bride!
