The last couple of weeks have been draining. There was Hurricane Sandy (those of us in the Northeast U.S. are still feeling her devastation), the anticipation of the presidential election outcome and just the day to day ups and downs of life. So, I decided to share a little eye candy on Triple B today for the heck of it. Call it a visual pick-me-up. I recently came across the above Manolo Blahnik shoes online and literally gazed at them for about ten minutes. They’re gorgeous. The combination of the satin fabrication, salmon/dusty rose/soft cranberry hue with the intricate crystal-beaded applique on the slightly round toe-box and that sexy 4.5 inch heel is swoon-worthy. Do I think these heels (or any other shoes) are worth the $1,295 price tag for most of us working gals? Absolutely not. I hope to snag my own wedding day shoes at a super-duper discount like Tie the Knot Tuesday alum Breanne did — I loathe paying retail. You guys know I’m all about helping brides get the most bang for their buck. But I knew you would still appreciate this eye candy. Let’s face it, we usually spend time online to escape from our “real world” problems and often find some aspiration in the process. These precious pumps do just that. You’re welcome!
