Cousin Mars thinks – When a woman wears short and/or tight outfits, the intended look is obvious. Although I often enjoy witnessing the aforementioned style, I give the most props when a woman is able to pull off the classy sexy look. Apparently Tessa understands what I’m saying. The perfectly fitting white suit with the somewhat see-through top offers enough to pique my curiosity and actually keep my attention. I think wearing this to a rehearsal dinner would guarantee the bride-to-be a practice run at being the center of attention.
Venus thinks – Women always make bold statements in fitted pantsuits and for this reason I love Tessa’s combination of white trousers and a blazer. Although a little risqué I would’ve like to see the blazer buttoned without the blouse. Brides, I’m sure by now you’re clutching your pearls but how beautiful would that look be with a fringe or lariat style necklace? Tessa’s hair and fresh face are already perfect and with some additional drama via nail polish and/or lipstick I believe she’d be bridal brunch or wedding rehearsal dinner ready. My favorite part of this ensemble are the shoes! Metallic silver is an awesome hue for winter. Ladies, consider letting your metallic pumps sparkle in the snow this winter.

I agree with you both once again! Winter white is so crisp. Mars, it is refreshing to get the feedback you shared from a man on pants suits. (I might need to invest in a new one soon…) Thanks for sharing. ;-) Venus, I agree with you on the suit sans blouse for a sexy night out with the boo or the girls but probably too risque for most brides to wear to their rehearsal dinner without at least a tank or camisole.
Sidebar: I’m anxious to see Selma! Besides it already receiving rave reviews and Oscar buzz, I grew up hearing about Bloody Sunday because of family ties to Selma and actually had a chance to visit the Edmund Pettus Bridge with my dad before he passed. I’m thankful for the little (yet significant) ways Triple B — even as a bridal blog — can help raise awareness of important films like Selma through posts like this one.
I’d be willing to wear this outfit tomorrow. No rehearsal dinner celebration, just another payday night out.
@Sharon – I hear ya! And just by changing the blouse it becomes so versatile…
After the way most of you reacted to Nas last week, I had to find someone stylish and more importantly extremely pleasing on the eyes.
I love the suit, blouse and yes Venus, the shoes are hot. For me a short jacket would better fit my body type but the jacket pictured would serve a rehearsal dinner fine.
