Have you heard? The Vera Wang for David’s Bridal bridesmaid collection is at last available to the masses. As of last week, the iconic designer’s posh creations are available to the wedding attendants of working class folks. I truly like the collection, largely because it doesn’t sacrifice style for price unlike many similar high-end designer lines for budget retailers.
The debut line is small but well edited and includes a nice mix of gowns, cocktail dresses, fabrications and colors. Expect the normal large range of sizes that David’s Bridal typically offers (up to size 26!). My faves are the One Shoulder Oraganza Dress with Black Belt and the One Shoulder Satin Dress with Asymmetrical Skirt. And both are under $200! In fact, nothing in this collection is over $250. Plus unlike the bridesmaid dresses of days past, your girls will actually want to rock them again. Win-win, huh?
Which dress is your favorite and would you consider these dresses for your bridesmaids?

UGH! The one shoulder organza looks beautiful but I would have preferred to see it on someone who has a shape and not a human hanger. I love Vera Wang! Her designs are unique and forward thinking but she does give in the the industry standard of the size 0 model and those like myself that would purchase it can’t see it on my curvy hourglass shape.. oh well
