My husband & I were married on a beach. We didn’t use electricty.
We are going with a totally digital invite suite. Although we expect several of our guest prefer paper invitations we have made the decision not to contribute to the huge amounts of wasted paper products.
We are getting married in the morning and our reception site has a HUGE skylight to allow natural light to illuminate our festivities, decreasing our need for artificial light. Candles and small wall lights will supplement this while the chandeliers reflect and refract the outside light for us.
I’m in the very early stages wedding planning. I never considered implementing any GREEN concepts, but it is totally on my radar now.

One way of going green is to rent (or buy) beautiful potted plants such as palm trees for your wedding decor. Either way, you’ll save money by not having to purchase as many expensive floral arrangements, and you’re helping to purify the air and give it a beautiful scent!
