Did you know that Etsy, the go-to online resource for every DIY (do-it-yourself) bride on the planet, has a wide selection of wedding bands? Honestly I didn’t until very recently. Mr. TK and I are beginning the –slightly daunting — process of searching for wedding bands (admittedly a little late) and I was overwhelmed by all the factors to consider: How will the band complement my engagement ring? How will our bands complement each others? Do we go matchy-matchy or not? What should we budget for bands? Should we get them engraved? Sheesh!
Stay on the lookout for an expert post specifically giving the 411 on wedding bands. In the meantime and in between time, check out what Etsy has to offer! I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised as I was with the vast selections and awesome prices.

Do you know anyone who purchased their wedding bands from Etsy? What was the experience like? Do share!
I love Etsy! I actually had my wedding band custom designed. Saw a band I liked, but wanted her to make changes. To throw in an additional loop, I sent her an old ring that she took the diamond and rubies from for my ring. Also, my co-worker who’s a man got his wedding band on Etsy. I feel like it’s a more personal option, and my ring is unique to me. Good luck on your quest!
@K. Bryant – Many thanks for this feedback! The vendors on Etsy must be well vetted b/c I’ve only heard positive comments from customers. Thanks for stopping by Triple B.
I love Etsy. I ordered the cards to ask by bridal party (including little people) from Etsy vendors and had positive experiences with 2 of the 3.
Be careful though- they are independent contractors, and are NOT pre-vetted. You need to read the feedback and check the location of the vendor. Some are as far away as Eastern Europe and China!
With that being said, I think this is a neat idea although I’m not nearly as trusting as @K. Bryant. I’m still planning to order more items via the site such as some jewelry and little things for the big day. I love patronizing small business so I think it’s a neat platform.
i love etsy but i also love The Wedding Mile (http://theweddingmile.com)!
Some of the same etsy sellers, but many others, who specialize in wedding and bridal custom made items. Some really cute stuff and gorgeous engagement and wedding rings as well!!
Thanks, Ronda! Mr. TK and I are still exploring Etsy wedding bands so the information in your comment is helpful.
@Tracey – Triple B normally charges for advertising ;-) (No, really…) but thanks for stopping by and commenting. I will check Wedding Mile out very soon.
