Cousin Mars thinks – I may have to steal this look for the next BlackBridalBliss.com Presents: Cupcakes, Cocktails, & Conversation. Considering this look for an engagement session could prove to be an excellent decision. This shirt, tie and sport coat combination works perfectly. The outfit’s color contrast could compliment the complexion of many. These are the things to consider when planning engagement sessions. I only know because I was forced to participate in one. (LOL!)
Venus thinks – I am really digging this combination of shirt, jacket, and tie…especially the copper tie. Preparing for an engagement shoot in the fall? Gentlemen, this is it! This is a great look for the spring as well. For those guys who don’t wear prescription glasses I’ve got you covered. Try a pair of costume specs from your local H&M. They will certainly add to the gentlemen look you were going for, fellas.
Check out what Mars and Venus had to say about actress Tia Mowry’s bridal-inspired look here.
I’m loving the look this week. YASSSSS!
Cool outfit. Janee I agree, the specs are hot. And suggesting that guys “test them out” at an uber-affordable retailer like H&M is a great tip! #TeamTripleB
LOVE this outfit, it’s so rich. The color of the jacket would compliment my skin tone favorably. The brother couldn’t be more fly with the glasses, sexy geeky.
Definitely one of my favorite Venus vs Mars looks so far!
home run, mars! this look works for any dress-y-ish occasion and the color palette is a home-run for most persons-of-color, from skin tones of the lightest to the darkest shades, from cafe au lait to the deepest browns, hailing from argentina to zimbabwe.
The surprise is how well it compliments pink and/or lavender (for the ladies) and maroon and burgundy (for the gents–or whomever). The white/creme trousers suggests a ’20s spectator look but, hey: it’s all camera-ready.
