Budget Bridal Bite: Wedding Fans!

One of the weddings I’ve had the most fun at took place in New Orleans — this was largely because of the insanely blissful second line. But another element of said wedding I thought was pretty darn cool were the fans all guests received as they entered the outdoor ceremony. These fans served double duty — they were programs and favors. Pretty cool, right?! Well, I recently discovered an online resource that provides very similar fans for a working bride’s budget.

Accent the Party offers fans for less than two dollars a pop and there are a plethora of options to choose from. (Downer: Costs only includes printing on one side.) I think my faves are the Midnight Summer  and Autumn Tree styles but they’re all so pretty. Getting hitched in the summer months and/or in a tropical locale? Your guests will be glad to have these fans to protect them from the hot sun. If you browse through the site you’ll likely uncover loads of other neat finds for your big day but I particularly became smitten with the fans because I know that unlike most other wedding favors, these are typically practical. Or maybe handheld fans with wooden handles just make me reminisce about my grandparents church in rural North Carolina (You know the ones with the funeral ads…). Whatever the case, be sure to mention Triple B sent ya if you can when stopping by Accent the Party!
