He did what he should have done.
I agree with him. TOTALLY AGREE!
Having recently experienced a very unpleasant wedding situation that literally divided my family in half, I am over here praise dancing for this man. I agree with him TOTALLY. I’m so glad he stood up for himself because some folks just don’t deserve his type of kindness. #snatchedhismoneybacklikeaBOSS
I TOTALLY AGREE with him!
This man did the right thing. No one wants to be a sucker willingly. Let “real dad” step up.
I have a bit of a different take on this situation. This man (and her mother) taught this bride how to treat him. His choices landed him exactly where he stands. He has lived with her mother in a semi-committed state of cohabitation for whatever reason he didn’t disclose. He willingly handed over his material resources to sponsor this young woman and her mother. I doubt that this is the first hint of selfishness/immaturity she has shown. He chose to be blind and not confront these issues. While I don’t think he should be guilted or forced to pay for this party, at which he has no place of honor or respect, you can’t cultivate relationships in a certain way for years then fuss about the harvest.
Hopefully, he is mature enough not to make a show of himself as he describes in his ‘fantasy toast’, since that’s just childish in my opinion.
Say what? Ronda is BIZ-ACK! Our comment section has missed you so. ;-)
