I can’t stop laughing at your Graqndma’s wish/gift!!! HILARIOUS.
Grandma was a boss indeed. I’m sure she let all her church friends know that her daughter bought her that mink, too. HA! Once again all of these items are fab but I’m a sucker for most things purple and can never have enough clean burning scented candles so #5 and #6 are now on my wish list. TEAM TRIPLE B ROCKS!
I agree! Mondella your holiday memory is hilarious! I love the wire ornaments! Great picks!
I’m a candle fanatic and that vanilla musk candle sounds like it smells amazing!
@Anonymous- My grandmother passed away 20 years ago, but the “fur coat story” is still my fave. I remember asking my mother if she was really going to buy the fur coat. Mom replied “when your mother is 85 and asks you for something THIS specific, you get it!”
@Indigo and Janee- Thanks ladies! So glad you love the ornaments and candles. And the price points for both are a steal.
@Bridgette- The serving pieces were chosen with you in mind. They come in an array or gorgeous colors, but when I saw the purple at my local Bed Bath and Beyond, I knew they had to be included. And for the record, the pic doesn’t do them justice. They are a beautiful shade of “Royall Purple.” (spelled this way on purpose:-)
I think seasoned black church women love big hats & furs. I forwarded this to my mother b/c my family has a similar story with my great aunt. Love the gift items also.
I was laughing so hard about Grandms’s mink until I forgot to write anything about the picks, they are all very unique but, my favorite is the Cashmere/Wool Blend throw. I received one some years ago from my daughter when she visited Italy .I’m sure I hinted about it just like your Grandma did.
@Karen-Yes indeed. The hats and furs are a must:-) Thanks for commenting and I’m glad you enjoyed the gift items.
@Anonymous- Ooh, a throw from Italy? How luxe! Kudos to your fantastic daughter! Glad you enjoyed my picks.
Thanks everyone for the great comments!
Being as though I’ve moved around a bit in my life, the Hood pillows sound awesome. Of course I’d front like the Mrs. purchased them – I can’t tell the homies I went pillow shopping. (lol)
