One of the most anticipated weddings of the year finally happened — actress Gabrielle Union and basketball all-star Dwyane Wade got hitched on Saturday, August 30. The dynamic duo wed in their home city of Miami at the Chateau Artisan castle in a black-and-white themed affair. The bride’s BFF Essence Atkins served as the couple’s officiant. The newlyweds were adamant about not having a traditional wedding party, however, celeb buddies such as Carmelo and LaLa Anthony, Chris and Jada Paul and Kevin Hart were in attendance.
The bride wore two gowns, both custom strapless numbers by Dennis Basso. Hubby Wade actually had three outfits for the big day, all tailor-made looks from DSquared2. His neckwear of choice was a personally designed Wedding Collection bowtie from The Tie Bar and a boutonniere by Floral Fix for the ceremony. Guests at the wedding also had a dress code: The women wore white, while the men wore black tuxes and The Tie Bar bowties chosen for them by the groom. R&B crooner John Legend serenaded the pair during the ceremony and New Jack Swing singers of 1980s/90s fame Guy reportedly performed during the reception.
Guests (who all signed a mandatory confidentially agreement) enjoyed a 1930s-era juke joint reception where Union’s Vanilla Puddin’ Chardonnay, the official white wine of the wedding, was served. The couple held a rehearsal dinner in Miami Beach the night before for a group of 30 people at Prime 112.

Triple B wishes all the couples a happy and healthy marriage!
They certainly are a beautiful bubbling brown sugar family. May they enjoy a lifetime of abundant blessings. I like the sound of Vanilla Puddin’ Chardonnay. The same lifetime wish goes for Evan Ross and Ashley Simpson.
I think I’m starting to like Gab again. She lost some of my respect when she publicly dated a married man. Maybe I’m over it. Who am I to judge, right?
BEAUTIFUL……………….
