Well folks, Kelly Rowland, who we first learned was engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon late last year, tied the knot last week in Costa Rica!
The Grammy winning singer who first captured our hearts as a member of Destiny’s Child reportedly exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on May 9. Sources say only 30 or so guests were present. Of those guests, Beyonce and little sister Solange were on hand to witness the couple’s union become official.
Kelly joins a slew of celebrities who have recently stayed under the radar for their nuptials, and perhaps this has something to do with her very public engagement to then NFL player, ex-boyfriend Roy Williams. (Roy and Kelly split in 2005.) Kelly even appeared on the cover of Modern Bride wearing a wedding gown.
“It was a quick, simple ceremony,” a source told Us magazine of the island nuptials.
Editor’s Shameless Note: As much as I respect the privacy of others, I admittedly would heart seeing a wedding pic or two from the couple’s big day. I’ve been in Kelly’s company a couple of times and she truly is gorgeous — she has flawless skin! I can only imagine that she was all kinds of beautiful as a bride. Yet her desire to keep her wedding day private actually ups her cool factor. Go, Kelly!
UPDATE: The above wedding pic was released on May 15 via Us Weekly. As expected, Kelly was a beautiful bride! The magazine also revealed that the ceremony was held at a private mansion estate and guests stayed in a villa next door. Everyone, including Kelly and Tim, wore white for the intimate nuptials.

Congratulations Kelly and Tim! I appreciate celebrities wanting to have private nuptials.
They don’t have to be wedding pictures. Send ALL pictures of Kelly Rowland to my email. Just joking…well…yeah, I think I’m joking.
lol
@SD – Agreed!
@Mars – SMH…
Wonderful for her! Marriage is a grand institution. But I learned about the wedding just now as I read this blog. I think I was probably the last to know. Thanks for keeping me informed, especially now that JET is going out of business!
