Last month BlackBridalBliss.com headed to Charlotte, NC for the first (but definitely not the last) Ultimate Date Night Wedding Planning Soiree! Held at the scenic Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture, the event featured an interactive info-session with Charlotte’s own personal financial guru Marsha Barnes of The Finance Bar to help couples make the most of their money post-wedding and tunes were provided by the award-winning DJ Battle of One Sound & Entertainment. Guests included engaged men and women, newlyweds, seasoned married couples and happily single folks. A memorable time was had by all!
Celebrated area vendors such as Save the Date showed off prettiful wedding stationery and Mahogany Designs debuted their custom decor items (perfect housewarming gifts for newlyweds) and brooms. Artful and delicious baked treats were on hand from Doris Marsh of DJ’s Creations. Guests were wowed by the raffle prizes that included a blender from Cooks and a custom Mahogany Designs creation. Tasty signature cocktails were plentiful plus each guest left with a fab gift bag that included an issue of ESSENCE magazine, a CC Blaq candle, a greeting card from The Kinky Collaborative plus a BlackBridalBliss.com pen and stylus (+ more)!

Please come to the ATL. Congratulations, it looks like this event was everything.
Looks like a lot of FUN! I’m not engaged (yet, LOL!) but I would love to attend something like this in the Washington, DC area.
Everyone and everything, especially that cake, looks g-o-o-d!
@SD – Thank you and that cake was sooooo good! DJ’s Creations rocks!
@Yolanda – WOO HOO! DC is on our list; stay tuned for deets. (P.S. – Many of our loyal readers are also unengaged; all are welcomed here at Triple B!)
@ Marilyn – Hmmm…ATL is doable. Thanks for commenting!
