With Valentine’s Day around the corner, many will be seeking a new sexy cocktail to enjoy with their partner, with friends or even solo. Deets on the above cocktail recently landed in my inbox and intrigued me because unlike many popular mixed drinks, it seems like it will equally appeal to men and women. Another plus? This concoction is an excellent contender for a fall or winter wedding specialty cocktail.
Here’s the recipe for the above drink:
Spice is Nice
Created by Tim Cooper, Sweetwater Social in NYC
½ oz Patrón XO Cafe Incendio
1 ½ oz Roca Patrón Reposado
½ oz Cinnamon Syrup (Easy to prepare with a cinnamon stick, sugar and water.)
¾ oz Lime Juice
Top with Freshly Grated Cinnamon
Build ingredients, shake and stir into a glass and pour over ice.
What is your favorite mixed drink to whip up at home? Are you planning to have a specialty cocktails at your wedding? Share in the comments!
Sounds good but sometimes tequila gives me a headache. Usually that’s the cheap tequila though (LOL!) so I should be okay with this.
