Lately I’ve been crushing on lapel pins for grooms. I think they’re stylishly unexpected, often make for great conversation starters and the color/texture options are practically endless. Plus, unlike real flowers in a traditional boutonniere they can be worn over and over again. While I have known about lapel pins for a “minute”, the latest varieties are a lot more dapper than those of years past. I especially like the one new hubby Mendeecees wore on his wedding day in the below pic. It is from Dapper Dude.
Dapper Dude also offers other sleek men’s accessories like bowties and pocketsquares. All of their items are handmade and pretty affordable, too. Many of their lapel pins retail for less than twenty bucks. What an affordable and easy way to turn a basic blazer from unmemorable to ta-dow, right?
Similar lapel pins can also be found at Etsy (a DIY bride and groom’s go-to resource) and even high-end designers such as Lanvin. Shhh…I just might have to pick one up for the Mister very soon. I wonder what Cousin Mars thinks of these lapel pins. (Hee, hee.)
Are you feeling lapel pins for wedding day fashion? Why or why not?

The lapel pins are very nice but, those chocolate brothers of the wedding party are wonderfully gorgeous! Thank you.
Always like the understatement of lapel pins. Works so well with the bow tie and as you stated “…can be worn over and over again” after the wedding. Nice pic of the week Triple B.
