Howdy! There wasn’t a new post on Triple B yesterday and there won’t be one today or tomorrow either. Folks, I’m tired. Really tired. In addition to BlackBridalBliss.com, I have several other projects on my plate. It is dang hard to juggle it all, and I underestimated how challenging this time period would be for me. Shucks, I know women who are seemingly doing even more all while raising children as single moms. But I went to the doctor yesterday and had a lil’ conversation with my Creator so I’m pressing pause to re-group and re-prioritize. Health is wealth. Tomorrow is my birthday and if God sees fit, I will celebrate it and many more in good health. But I must work smarter and not just harder. Running Triple B is no easy feat and I want each and every post, especially Tie the Knot Tuesday to be of a certain standard. Otherwise it isn’t fair to me or you. I signed up for this so I don’t need sympathy. Team Triple B is lean and mean… We got this. Sometimes, a break is needed to move forward however and this is one of those times.
Mars and Venus will return on Thursday with an exciting Oscar Fashion Recap and Janee’s Bridal News You Can Use will be back on Friday. Plus there’s a new 15 Minutes With… and a Final Friday with Cousin Mars on deck later this week as well. Hopefully in the next week or so things around here will return to normal — the new normal anyway. Those of you planning weddings or simply searching for a Triple B fix in the meantime should check us out over on Instagram and/or Twitter. There is a plethora or “wedspiration” being shared on those platforms daily.

Happy birthday lil sister! Reading your post this morning (as I often do) led me to leave a comment (which I don’t do often…but I love you the same all the time). Sharing a sermon title from Pastor Jones that seems to be timely at this place, space and time you’re in: “When good is the enemy of best”. Chew on that for a moment and remember information and talking won’t save you – action will. Taking a break and knowing when to do so is a good action. Don’t quit, don’t give up – just rest. We’ll see you when you get back.
